I spent a day drawing… just Rosie the whippet and me. These are quick drawings, working towards a painting, and finding what lines make up Rosie.
She has a beautiful head and great posing ability.

Tango inspired painting is a new theme for 2012
This painting was inspired by the changing winter colours as I travelled through the Derbyshire countryside to visit the company that does such a wonderful job of framing my work. These journeys gives me time to look and begin to form ideas of how next I will paint my local landscapes.
